La Giornata Internazionale dell’Infermiera è il 12 maggio di ogni anno.   

International Nurses Day is May 12th of each year.

 E’ una festa, stabilita nel 1912, per commemorare la fondatrice della moderna scienza infermieristica, Florence Nightingale. Lo scopo fondamentale è quello di promuovere, coltivare l’eredità, portare avanti  il coraggio e la dedizione di Nightingale, disposta a sacrificare, per salvare vite umane, il coraggio di sacrificio in uno spirito umanitario.

It was set up in 1912 in order to commemorate the modern nursing discipline founder, Florence Nightingale. Its basic tenet is to advocate, inherit and carry forward the courage and dedication of Nightingale in the humanitarian spirit.

Durante la guerra di Crimea, Nightingale si è fatta notare per il suo coraggio e dedizione. Come conseguenza il tasso di mortalità era sceso dal 42% al 2,2%. Nel 1860 aveva fondato la prima scuola di cura a Londra.  Dopo la sua morte, avvenuta nel 1910, nel 1912 è stata istituita la Giornata Internazionele dell’Infermiere” cui è stato dedicato il giorno del 12 maggio, giorno del suo compleanno.

During the Crimean War, Nightingale was noted for her courage and dedication. As a result, the mortality rate dropped from 42% to 2.2%. In 1860 she founded the first nursing school in London. After her death in 1910, in 1912 the International Day of the Nurse was set up, to which May 12, the day of his birthday was dedicated.

In questo giorno c’è la cerimonia di premiazione “del cappello” , momento importante, il cappello bianco simboleggia la purezza dell’angelo.

Dall'inizio del 1988, la Giornata Internazionale dell’Infermiere ha un tema. A partire dal 2008,inoltre, ogni tre anni c’è un tema globale, il tema annuale ha un argomento diverso nell’ambito del tema globale. Il tema previsto per l’anno 2018 è: La salute è un diritto umano.

Since 1988, the annual International Nurse Day has a theme, since 2008, the International Nurses Festival every 3 years have a total theme, each year under the overall theme of a different focus.
2018 Theme is:  health is human right.

Lo status degli antichi medici cinesi può essere visto come un processo in continuo declino: tra i "tre imperatori" nei tempi antichi, l'Imperatore Giallo e Shennong erano tutti legati alla medicina, e il loro status era evidente. Tuttavia, durante il Periodo delle Primavere e degli Autunni e durante quello degli Stati Combattenti la casta dei medici, con l'ascesa della classe degli studiosi, non solo non era più la classe principale ma era anche un'occupazione di basso livello con la presenza di streghe e simili.

The status of ancient Chinese doctors can be seen as a process of continuous decline. Among the “three emperors” in the ancient times, the Yellow Emperor and Shennong were all related to medicine, and their status was evident.
