正年初十四拜临水娘娘 Quattordicesimo giorno / Fourteenth day

 

 

拜临水娘娘 bài lín shuǐ niángniáng  Adorazione della Dea

Il 25 febbraio è il quattordicesimo giorno del primo mese del calendario lunare. Essendo una delle tradizionali feste lunari cinesi, questo giorno le attività popolari prevedono:  provare le lanterne, mangiare zuppa glutinosa e adorare l'imperatrice Linshui.

February the 25^th is the fourteenth day of the first month of the lunar calendar. As one of the traditional Chinese lunar festivals, Chinese folklore activities on this day include trying the lanterns, eating glutinous rice noodles, and visiting the empress Linshui.

 

喝亮眼汤 Hē liàng yǎn tāng   Mangia la minestra degli occhi che brillano

Xinchang e Shengzhou si hanno l'abitudine di bere una minestra il 14 del primo mese lunare. C'è un detto tra il popolo cinese che la minestra da occhi brillanti della quattordicesima notte mostra che il Festival di Primavera è quasi finito, e tutti devono iniziare a rallegrarsi e iniziare il nuovo anno.

Xinchang and Shengzhou have the custom of drinking soup on the 14th of the first lunar month. There is a Chinese saying that the bright eye soup of the  fourteen nights will show that the Spring Festival is almost over. Everyone must start to work in the new year. 

拜临水娘娘

I cinesi chiamano il quattordicesimo giorno del primo mese lunare il compleanno dell '"Imperatrice Linshui" (conosciuta anche come la "Madre del Sole"). La leggenda narra che la fanciulla di nome Chen di Linshui una volta fosse una persona e in seguito divenisse dio che salvò le donne che avevano difficoltà a partorire.

Chinese folks call the fourteenth day of the first lunar month as the birthday of the "Linshui Empress" (also known as the "Mother of the Sun"). Legend has it that Linshui's maiden surnamed Chen was once a person and later became a god who saved women who had difficulty giving birth.

 

 

正年初十四 Zhèng niánchū shísì  Quattordicesimo giorno

 

In questo giorno l’arrivo del nuovo anno è praticamente completato e poi, con il Festival delle Lanterne, il 15° giorno del primo mese lunare, tutte le feste saranno terminate.

On this day, the New Year has basically set up and then, by the Lantern Festival on the 15th of the first lunar month, all celebrations are over.
