正年初十三 灯头生日Tredicesimo giorno – Il Giorno della Prima Lanterne / Thirteenth day – the First Lantern Day

 

Quali sono le usanze popolari il 13° giorno del primo mese lunare? La Festa delle Lanterne è in arrivo, e deve avere qualcosa a che fare con le lanterne! Per primo vi è "il compleanno della prima lanterna", che è un'importante usanza popolare. Oltre a questo, ci sono altre usanze popolari come mangiare polpette di riso glutinoso, offrendo sacrifici a Guan Gong, e facendo "insetti sacri" in diversi luoghi.

A Nanchino si accendeva la lanterna sin dal tredicesimo giorno del primo mese e il diciottesimo giorno la si spegneva.
