小雪(Xiǎoxuě) “Nevicata leggera” è il ventesimo dei  ventiquattro termini solari. Quest’anno cade il 22  novembre. Il sole raggiunge il 240° grado e si trova nella declinazione di -20 ° 16 ', a Pechino è visibile per soli 9 ore e 49 minuti, a mezzogiorno raggiunge 29° 50'.

Nel periodo chiamato “Nevicata leggera”, l'Orsa Maggiore di notte punta a Ovest - Nord-ovest (alle ore 10 in punto). Dopo le 20:00 di ogni notte, se osserviamo le stelle possiamo vedere l'Orsa Maggiore puntare a ovest, mentre  Cassiopea,  a forma di "W", è sempre più visibile. Di conseguenza Cassiopea assume il compito di trovare la Stella Polare e di navigare, al posto di Orsa Maggiore.

24 ore di precipitazioni:
- entro 2,5 mm “Nevicata leggera”

- da 2,6 mm a 5,00 mm “Media nevicata”

– oltre 5,00 mm “Grande nevicata”

Meteorology:

Attività agricole
Nei primi giorni di “Nevicata leggera” la profondità di congelamento del suolo nel nord-est della Cina raggiunge 10 centimetri, in seguito in media supera 1 centimetro al giorno, il gelo arriva a più di un metro entro la fine del termine solare. Quindi il proverbio dice "Piccolo sigillo di neve", dopo di che la dimensione del fiume si è gradualmente congelata. Il proverbio agricolo diceva: "La neve è piena, l'anno che verrà sarà un anno di buon raccolto". Ci sono tre significati: in primo luogo: una nevicata indica che l'anno che viene avrà anche la pioggia, nessuna siccità, in secondo luogo: la neve può congelare alcuni germi e parassiti in modo che nel prossimo anno sarà ridotto l'insorgere di parassiti e malattie, in terzo luogo: il ruolo della neve è mantenere il caldo, favorisce la decomposizione della materia organica nel suolo e migliora la sua fertilità.
