Per impedire ai poveri fantasmi di entrare in casa durante il Festival di Primavera, si appendono delle carte rosse con le scritte ben augurali alla porta. Il sesto giorno la padrona di casa getterà via la spazzatura accumulata durante il festival con il significato di cacciare i poveri fantasmi, pertanto anche le note rosse appese alle porte potranno essere rimosse e gettate, anch’esso significa che i poveri fantasmi sono stati allontanati.
