霜降 Gelo / Frost 

Il gelo, uno dei ventiquattro termini solari del calendario lunisolare cinese corrisponde al 23 ottobre circa del calendario gregoriano. Questo termine contiene il senso del tempo che gradualmente diventa freddo, è  l'ultima sezione dei termini solari, significa anche che l'inverno sta per iniziare. La stagione di gelo freddo indica che l'assistenza sanitaria è particolarmente importante. Il proverbio popolare "一年补透透，不如补霜降"  (Un anno intero non è importante quanto la stagione del 霜降 Gelo)  mostra l'impatto di questo termine solare sulle persone.

This solar term contains the idea that weather becomes gradually cold, it's the last section of the solar terms, also means that the winter is about to begin. 霜降 Gelo  è il diciottesimo dei ventiquattro termini solari in cui è diviso un anno, secondo il tradizionale calendario lunisolare cinese.  Inizia quando il sole raggiunge il 210° grado longitudinale e termina quando raggiunge il 225°. Quest’anno inizia il 23 ottobre e termina il 6novembre.

霜降  Frost is the eighteenth of the twenty-four solar terms in which a year is divided, according to the traditional lunisolar Chinese calendar. It begins when the sun reaches the 210th longitudinal grade and ends when it reaches 225th. This year it begins on October 23rd and ends on November 6th.

In alcuni luoghi in Cina, nella stagione del gelo si raccomanda di mangiare cachi rossi. Essi non soltanto riscaldano il corpo, ma sono anche in grado di complementare le ossa, trattandosi di un ottimo cibo per la stagione del gelo.

 白果 ginkgo

 

In questa stagione è importante fare attenzione a gastrite cronica e recidiva dell'ulcera gastroduodenale. Gli anziani sono anche molto sensibili alle "vecchie gambe fredde" (osteoartrosi del ginocchio), anche la bronchite cronica è soggetta a ricadute. Si dovrebbe mangiare più pere, mele, ginkgo, cipolle, senape (Brassica juncea).

寒露 Rugiada Fredda / Cold Dew

 寒露 Hánlòu

Hánlòu è il diciasettesimo dei ventiquattro termini solari in cui è diviso un anno, secondo il tradizionale calendario lunisolare cinese.  Inizia quando il sole raggiunge il 195° grado longitudinale e termina quando raggiunge il 218°. Quest’anno inizia l'8 ottobre e termina il 21.

Hánlòu is the seventeenth of the twenty-four solar terms in which a year is divided, according to the traditional lunisolar Chinese calendar. It begins when the sun reaches the 195th longitudinal grade and ends when it reaches 210th. This year begins on October 8th and ends on 21st.

 

I "72 Annali" recita: "La festa di settembre: l'aria fredda sarà condensata." Il significato principale della "Rugiada Fredda" é che la temperatura è più bassa della "Rugiada Bianca" (leggi qui), la rugiada del terreno, essendo più fredda, si condensa in gelo. A Nanling e nelle grandi aree del nord inizia la stagione fredda, mentre siamo nel tardo autunno nell'area nord-est.

Dal punto di vista della medicina cinese, questo termine solare ha la caratteristica più importante nel "male asciutto" quando si è suscettibili a danneggiare polmoni e stomaco. In questo periodo il sudore evapora velocemente, di conseguenza la pella sembra secca, aumentano le rughe. Abbiamo altresì la bocca e la gola secche, tosse secca, perdita di capelli, costipazione etc. Allo stesso tempo si consiglia di evitare eccessiva stanchezza, a causa di troppo esercizio fisico.

During this period the sweat evaporates quickly, so the flesh looks dry, the wrinkles increase. Nella dieta dovrebbe trovarsi meno cibo stimolante, piccante, cibo affumicato etc. Si dovrebbe, invece, mangiare più sesamo, noci, funghi bianchi, ravanelli, pomodori, radici di loto, latte. Allo stesso tempo per mantenere una certa umidità interna, si dovrà prestare attenzione ad aggiungere acqua, mangiare banane, cantalupo, mele, cachi d'acqua, uva e altri frutti. Inoltre dovrebbe anche prestare attenzione a strofinare la pelle con delle creme per proteggerla dalla secchezza.

Sempre secondo la teoria della medicina cinese, ogniuno dei 24 termini solari mette a fuoco una questione diversa riguardo alla salute. L'8 ottobre è la "Rugiada Fredda", è l'inizio della stagione calda e fredda, di giorno fa caldo ma la notte è fredda, durante questo tempo dovremmo prestare attenzione a "quale cibo serve per mantenerci sani?"

中秋节 Festa di Metà Autunno / Mid-Autumn Festival

Con la Festa della Luna inizia il periodo "Metà Autunno" che parte dalla prima notte di luna piena, il quindicesimo giorno dopo l'ottavo mese del tradizionale calendario lunisolare cinese. Quest'anno cade il 4 ottobre.
With the Moon Festival begins the "Mid-Autumn" period that begins on the first full moon night, the fifteenth day after the eighth month of the traditional Lunisolar Chinese calendar. This year it falls on October 4th.

Le origini della Festa di Metà Autunno si perdono nella mitologia.

Si narra che un giorno nel cielo apparvero dieci soli. La gente sulla terra non riusciva più sopportare il caldo e si rivolse all'imperatore Yao (2000 ac). L’imperatore decise allora di chiamare Hou Yi, il valente arciere, ordinandogli di colpire nove soli. Egli infatti ne lasciò uno solo. In seguito Hou Yi divenne un tiranno e rubò l'elisir dell'immortalità dalla Regina Madre d’Occidente. La bellissima Chang 'E, sua moglie, a sua volta glielo rubò per salvare la popolazione dalla tirannia di Hou Yi e, appena bevutolo, la gravità non ebbe più effetto su di lei. Così lei volò sulla Luna.
Non appena la gente sulla Terra seppe cosa era successo, volle ringraziare la dea Chang 'E e ad appellarsi a Lei per avere felicità e tranquillità.
The origin of the Mid-Autumn Festival is lost in mythology.

La Festa di Metà Autunno, considerata una festa tradizionale fino al periodo Tang (618-907), divenne ufficiale durante il periodo Song (960-1279). La popolarità, quasi all'altezza della Festa della Primavera la raggiunse solo durante le Dinastie Ming (1368-1644) e Qing (1644-1911).
The Mid-Autumn Festival was considered a traditional festival until the Tang period (618-907), became official during the Song period (960-1279). The popularity, almost up to the Spring Festival, reached only during the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) Dinasties.   

Sappiamo che già durante la Dinastia Song (1127-1279) si offrivano i "moon cake", i Dolci della Luna. Oggi si sta tutti insieme, mangiando i dolci della luna e osservando la Luna piena che in questo periodo dell'anno è particolarmente luminosa data la sua distanza dalla Terra.
