上巳节 Festival Shangsi  / The double Third

Il Festival Shangsi, comunemente noto come Festa del 3 marzo, è un festival tradizionale della nazionalità Han. A questo festival prima è stato dedicato il quarto giorno all'inizio del mese di marzo dalla dinastia Han e, successivamente, il terzo giorno di marzo dal Calendario Xia.

The Shangsi Festival, commonly known as the March 3rd Festival, is a traditional festival of the Han nationality. This festival was first dedicated on the fourth day at the beginning of March by the Han dynasty and then on the third day of March by the Xia calendar.

 

 

Il Festival Shangsi era il festival più importante nelle antiche attività: La gente va in riva a fare il bagno insieme, ciò è chiamato "esposizione". Da allora sono stati aggiunti i banchetti sacrificali, acque per le cure e gite primaverili. Nei tempi antichi  il giorno era contrassegnato dal "ramo principale" e il primo giorno all'inizio di marzo era chiamato "Shangsi". Il termine "Shangsi" fu incluso per la prima volta nella letteratura della prima dinastia Han.

The Shangsi Festival, commonly known as the March 3^rd Festival, is a traditional festival of the Han nationality. The Shangsi Festival was the most important festival in ancient activities: People go to the shore to bathe together, this is called “exhibition”. Since then, sacrificial banquets, healing waters and spring outings have been added. In ancient times the day was marked with the “main branch” and the first day in early March was called “Shangsi”. The term “Shangsi” was first included in the literature of the early Han dynasty.

 

Dopo le dinastie Wei e Jin il festival Shangsi è stato spostato al terzo giorno del terzo mese del calendario lunare ed era anche chiamato "Chong San" o "3 marzo".

After the Wei and Jin dynasties the Shangsi festival was moved to the third day of the third month of the lunar calendar and was also called “Chong San” or “March 3”.
