谷雨 Pioggia dei Cereali / Grain Rain

 

Il periodo solare 谷雨 (Gǔyǔ) "Pioggia dei cereali" segue quelli di 清明 (Qīngmíng), 春分 (Chūnfēn) "Equinozio di Primavera", 立春 Lìchūn '"Inizio della Primavera", 雨水 (Yǔshuǐ) "Acqua Piovana" e quello di 惊蛰 (Jīngzhé) "Il risveglio degli Insetti" ed inizia quando il Sole raggiunge la longitudine celeste di 30°.
The solar period 谷雨 (Gǔyǔ) "Grain Rain" follows those of 清明 (Qingming), 春分 (Chunfen) "Spring Equinox", 立春 Lichun '"Beginning of Spring", 雨水 (Yǔshuǐ) "Rainwater" and the 惊蛰 (Jīngzhé) "Awakening of Insects" and begins when the Sun reaches the celestial longitude of 30°.

C'è l'antico proverbio “雨生百谷” (“Yǔ shēng bǎi gǔ”) "La pioggia fa nascere cento cereali", ma è anche il momento di piantare piantine di trapianto.
There is the ancient saying “雨生百谷” (“Yǔ shēng bǎi gǔ”) "Rain lets hundred cereals born" but it is also time to seeding seedlings. 

 

Gǔyǔ è l'ultimo periodo di energia solare della primavera; l'arrivo dell'energia solare della "Pioggia dei cereali" significa che il freddo è fondamentalmente finito, la temperatura è aumentata più velocemente, favorendo notevolmente la crescita delle colture di cereali.
Gǔyǔ is the last period of solar energy in the spring, the arrival of solar energy of the "Grain Rain" means that the cold weather is basically over, the temperature picked up faster, greatly conducive to the growth of cereal crops.

Nei tempi antichi c'era l'usanza di "camminare sotto la pioggia". In questo giorno le giovani donne si recavano al villaggio per incontrare i parenti ed alcune di loro fecero una passeggiata nella natura selvaggia. Il significato è fondersi con la natura per rafforzare il corpo.

In ancient times, there was a custom of "walking in the rain". On that day, young women went to the village to meet relatives in the village, and some of them also went for a walk in the wild. The meaning is to blend with nature to strengthen the body.

 

Le tradizioni della Festa della Pioggia dei Cereali prevedono tra l’altro: sorseggiare del tè, mangiare del cedro e fare un tour tra le peonie.
The traditions of the Grain Rain Festival include, among others: tea sipping, eating cedar and taking a peony tour.

 

Pechino la Fiera della Peonia si tiene sulla collina 金山.

In Beijing, the Peony Fair is held on the 金山 hill.

A Luoyang, a partire dal 1983, si sono organizzate con successo 31 fiere della peonia. La fiera inizia solitamente il 10 aprile.

Since 1983 Luoyang has successfully organized 31 peony fairs. The fair usually starts on April 10th.
